Cardin, Ben (D). Ben Cardin, the incumbent, supports legislation to help Maryland’s farmers, but also to insure a healthy Chesapeake Bay. He is a senior member of the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee. He supports a single, national GMO labeling policy. He is leading an effort to create a commission to fully investigate Russian cyberattacks on U.S. entities and election infrastructure. He also supports legislation that would force the President and Vice-President to disclose and divest any potential financial conflicts of interest. He has called for a revival of consideration for the Equal Rights Amendment to guarantee full equal protection to women. www.bencardin.com 

Vohra, Arvin (Libertarian). Arvin Vohra opposes all U.S. involvement in foreign wars, and would cut the taxes no longer needed to support them. He favors defunding the Department of Education and ending federally backed student loans. He would remove all restrictions on immigration, eliminate all social welfare programs, shut down Social Security and Medicare, sell all government-owned land and remove all laws limiting the liability of private property owners. www.votevohra.com 

Campbell, Tony (R). Tony Campbell teaches politics at Towson University with a focus on political theory. He served in the U.S. Army as a chaplain and received a doctorate from Liberty University Seminary. He has served on the Executive Committee of the Maryland Republican Party and the Baltimore County Charter Review Commission. He is a board member of a charter school in Baltimore.
